Attention Parents of Student-Athletes

The Apex Cougar Club Needs You!

The Apex Cougar Club is a not-for-profit fundraising organization that supports the annual budget presented by the Apex High School Athletic Director. We raise this money through concession stands, membership passes and raffle ticket, but they involve a great deal of work, but we have a good time accomplishing our goals. The Cougar Club provides 60% of the athletic budget for Apex High School.

  • Without the Cougar Club, Apex High School would have to cut 22 of its 37 sports teams.
  • Without the Cougar Club, 600 of the 1000 student athletes could not play sports at Apex.
  • The Club needs 30 to 60 active board members to function properly. Your club needs your active participation.

WE NEED YOUR HELP to continue to make our program one of the best. We are looking for members to help with the various activities we have, and for some to hold committee chair positions–Treasurer, Concession Stands, Family Membership, and Corporate Membership. Please join the Board of Directors by sending an email to joinboard@apexcougarclub.org.

Test Drive the new Cougar Club Mobile App

20140828_210634000_iOSFor the 2014-2015 school year the Apex Cougar Club has a new mobile solution for Smart Phones and Tablets.  The new solution is a Web App which means it runs from a web site instead of downloading and installing it from the Apple or Android app store.  Once installed, it works just like a native app but has the advantage that we can update much easier than going through the app approval process.

If you have the old Cougar Club mobile App installed on your device, please remove it as the data is no longer being updated.

Installation Process

Unlike the traditional install process, the Cougar Club mobile web app is added to the home screen (it has an icon, etc.) using the following process depending on your mobile device:

  • 20140828_210644000_iOSVisit http://m.apexcougarclub.org on your mobile device.
  • On iPhone use the icon in the center of the bottom toolbar (box with arrow pointing up) and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
  • On iPad use the icon in the upper left of the top toolbar (box with arrow pointing up) and choose “Add to Home Screen”.
  • On Android phone use the upper right (3 vertical dots) menu and choose “Add to homescreen”.
  • On Windows Phone, tap “More …”, then tap “Pin to Start”.

Feedback

If you have comments, questions, or suggestions about the new Mobile App, please send them via email to the Cougar Club at:  feedback@apexcougarclub.org
