Congratulations to Coach Cooper, the NCHSAA Coach of the Year!

The North Carolina High School Athletic Association has announced the recipients of the 2018 Toby Webb Coach of the Year Awards, which recognizes one male and one female coach annually. Amber Reddick from Freedom High School and our very own Roy Cooper from Apex High School were selected as this year’s winners. Read more here.

This award honors coaches who have impacted student-athletes, and students in general, by encouraging them to succeed and by helping them to develop self-confidence, ambition, a sound work ethic, and other skills necessary for success in the students’ later lives.

Congratulations, Coach Cooper, we’re proud that you belong to Apex High School!
