Wanted: Historical Memorabilia of Apex and Apex High School!

Apex High School art students will be creating two large works of art representational of the town of Apex and Apex High School. These panels will be installed in the new high school to be opened in August of 2019. The art students, under the direction of art teacher Shawnda Rossi, along with local artist, Jane Wolfgang, will be collaborating and creating these works beginning in October.

They are looking for any COPIES (not originals) of 2-D memorabilia of Apex and/or of Apex High School to be used in the artwork. Newspaper articles, ticket stubs, musical/play programs, prom or graduation photos, etc., are some wanted items. Scans and photographs of the originals would be welcomed. If you’re donating any 3-D items (such as jackets ) please take a photo. These digital copies should be at least 300 dpi. They can be emailed to  Janewolfgangart@gmail.com or to srossi@wcpss.net. Items can also be dropped off at Apex High School on Roberts Road. These items are needed ASAP.
