The 2018 Homecoming Dance Has Been Rescheduled to Oct. 6

Due to the unpredictability of Hurricane Florence and not knowing how long students would be out of school, or how many fewer days the Apex Cougar Club would have to sell Homecoming Dance tickets, assemble decorations or arrange other details related to the dance, the decision was made by Principal Williams and the Apex Cougar Club board members and the Student Council, to reschedule the Homecoming Dance to Oct. 6, 7-10 p.m. The theme is “Under the Stars” and the dress code is semi-formal.

The Homecoming football game against Panther Creek will still take place Sept. 21. The Homecoming King and Queen are expected to be crowned during halftime of the game. Spirit Week, however, has been moved to Oct. 1-5.

Tickets will be sold during both lunches leading up to the dance, as well as at the Varsity Football game vs. Millbrook this Monday, Sept. 17, and at the Homecoming football game against Panther Creek this Friday, Sept. 21.

Tickets cost $20 per person. If you’re bringing a guest from outside of AHS, please download and fill out this form, then turn it in when you purchase your tickets.
